"The Global Development Commons is a call to the international development community to improve collaboration through the use of innovative technologies. The Commons creates opportunities to gather data, share knowledge, forge partnerships, and make better decisions." The web site spotlights various tech-related projects focused on aid, relief and development, such as: -- microLINKS, a knowledge sharing source of information, applications, and tools designed to improve the impact of USAID microenterprise programs and activities. -- POPLINE is a USAID-funded database of articles, reports, books, and reports on reproductive health. Maintained since 1973, it contains nearly 360,000 records, with 12,000 records added annually.
