Country Director – Pakistan, Islamabad for HTSPE
Position: Country Director
HTSPE is an international consultancy with over 50 years’ experience of addressing today’s most challenging issues in every region of the world. Working together with communities, NGOs, national governments, international aid donors or the private sector, HTSPE strives to achieve the goal of sustainable and equitable development.
HTSPE has established an international reputation for exceptional work at all stages of the project cycle, delivering real results to address crucial challenges, including: safeguarding the environment, good governance, poverty reduction, durable economic growth, sustainable livelihoods and global security issues. HSTPE has 50 full-time members of staff at our head office in Hemel Hempstead, UK, from where we manage and implement up to 150 projects and programmes across Asia & the Pacific, Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and the UK.
We are currently seeking to fill the post of Country Director - Pakistan to manage the HTSPE Pakistan office, and to successfully deliver to an agreed budget and profit for the branch.
In addition to a post-graduate degree in a relevant subject and experience in international aid, the successful candidate will have extensive experience of overseas consultancy and high level technical skills. Excellent client relations are essential as are excellent communication and presentation skills, written and oral. You will need to have the ability to manage staff of different nationalities and levels of skill as well as commercial aptitude.
