Innovations for maternal, newborn, & child health is an initiative – funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation - that seeks to identify, support and field-test bold, innovative ways to overcome barriers to delivering proven health-care tools and services to women and children in several international settings. Concern Worldwide US, which manages the project, is seeking an experienced senior manager to join the Innovations management team in New York. Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental international humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working toward the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries. The key purpose of Head of Operations and Support is to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of the Innovations project by leading the global support services at central level coordinating across the countries in which Innovations does/may operate, i.e., Malawi, Sierra Leone, India-Orissa state, Kenya and other future locations.
