Anyone running a training course on customs procedures?

I look like to get a better understanding of Customs processes and procedures. NGOs often lose a lot of time and money by having items stuck in customs for weeks or months. Does any one know of a training course that offers an NGO perspective on Customs matters?

Hi Peter - welcome back to the forum (I remember you asked about AC generators ages ago!). I take it you've tried the usual suspects at Red-R? I have also emailed the 6 AWN members who identified "customs" as an area of experience, so let's see how we get on.

I've not heard of any training courses on customs procedures.  However I would say that for many countries in the developing world, it's not essential to know the procedures as it is to know the personalities involved - if you make the right contacts, suddenly things move a lot more quickly!
