Well, I have been accepted for a placement with VSO and I am excited about the opportunities that may be ahead. I've turned down two potential placements thus far in Pakistan and India.

Spurred by the recent death of a Canadian aid worker in Cambodia, Patronus Analytical's Kevin Toomer points out again the importance of having sufficient health and evacuation insurance. Definitely an issue for members of this forum as well! Kevin's recommendations are well worth reading.
