I recently joined Postadjust, who launched their website a few weeks ago.

I have recently become involved with an organisation in Kibera, Nairobi which hopes to open a health clinic servicing their school and eventually the community within the slum.

Does any one of you have experience with battery inverter electricity supply systems?
How are they designed, how is the capacity calculated of the inverter and how many batteries are required?

I am in interview process for the possition of logistician.Would some one give me guidence for technical interview for logistician and a person who could share his learning from his past interviews

I stumbled into Logistics by chance one day 8 years AGO straight from University, without the slightest idea what a career in Logistics was all about.

There is still space available in the upcoming training in Bangkok, "Logistics and Incoterms", 17-19 March 2009. The training is for NGOs/CSOs, governments, UN staff, development banks and donors.

Does anyone know any training providers who can give in country training in vehicle maintenance/repair and security in Kabul?

I was thinking about doing the certificate in Humanitarian Logistics and wondered what any of you seasoned relief workers thought.
